bubble gum is a female-led platform for live art and performance that connects artistic practice with critical reflection and international dialogue. We focus on formats that bring the stage and the audience closer together. We want everyone who joins us to become part of the experience. Our projects bring together performances and simple ways of being together, bringing artists and audiences into the same space to experience live art as a group.
Our journey began in 2020 with an online community of artists looking for new ways to connect when we couldn't meet in person. Since then, the platform has evolved from a digital collective into a physical space for live art.
Since 2024, bubble gum has been developing its own curatorial practice. What began as a collaboration between two people has grown into a larger team. We encourage artists to develop their own research methodologies while working with us, a process that continuously shapes how we work and who we are. This open approach allows us to rethink how we develop and present projects, pushing the platform to grow beyond borders and work with artists from all kinds of contexts.
At its core, bubble gum is a place of curiosity, a platform where artists can try out ideas, take risks and develop work by learning from each other and shared reflection.
